Hypnosis is a natural state that can be achieved by anyone to access the power of the subconscious mind. This part of your mind is where all of your emotions and habitual patterns of thoughts are created and maintained.
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Yes - if they want to be.
What if I lose control?
You are in control of the whole process and can open your eyes at anytime.
Can I be forced to do anything against
my will?
No you cannot be forced to do anything against you will, you are in control at all times.
How does Hypnosis work?
Problems can occur when a behaviour pattern / programme is made in response to a situation that occurred in the past. When the person grows up, the situation changes, but the behaviour response sometimes does not. As hypnotherapy accesses the clients subconscious mind / seat of all emotions, the behaviour response can be changed allowing positive changes to take place.
How many visits will I need?
This is very individual to each client and the type of issue that is being resolved but 2 to 4 sessions is usually all that is required to create the changes wanted.
What does hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis is experienced differently by everyone, however most people enjoy a calm peaceful state of mind and body. However hypnosis can be achieved without the need for any relaxation at all but it is far more powerful when a calmness is created within the mind and body. Most people describe hypnosis as a pleasant experience, and enjoy all the benefits that are created as a result of this peaceful state.
