Hypnosis and Beliefs

What are beliefs? Well beliefs are thoughts that you have been thinking over and over again?

An example of this would be..

  • If someone were told over and over again by their parents or friends that they are stupid, or clumsy. Eventually over a short period of time you would create a new belief. When this happens, you may find yourself becoming clumsy or accident prone. Or you may find that you feel a lack of confidence or low self esteem.

What has actually happened is that you have contemplated a thought over a period of time, whether it is a thought that you have yourself or whether it is words that are spoken over and over again by someone else, and that thought has become so dominant within you that it has become a belief. (habitual pattern of thought).
