What are beliefs? Well beliefs are thoughts that you have been thinking over and over again?
An example of this would be..
What has actually happened is that you have contemplated a thought over a period of time, whether it is a thought that you have yourself or whether it is words that are spoken over and over again by someone else, and that thought has become so dominant within you that it has become a belief. (habitual pattern of thought).
Another example would be..
Those phrases if repeated over a period of time can become a new belief. Once this happens your memory retention can falter. In other words you will find that your ability to recall information is not as strong resulting in a poor memory.
We all have beliefs and many of them serve you well. However should someone have a belief that is inappropriate such as an irrational fear of spiders, or fear of public speaking, or even believe it is difficult to achieve a slimmer figure or give up smoking, or achieve success. They are whats called inappropriate belief systems and can be changed.
The thing I would like you to know about beliefs is that they can be changed it does not matter what they are, by achieving a state of hypnosis, those old outdated beliefs you no longer want can be changed to something you do want.
The mind is like one massive powerful computer, as you continue to think and listen to those around you, eventually your thoughts on whatever subject, reach a tipping point where those thoughts you have been thinking become the new belief. However the good thing is that they are only thoughts, and hypnosis can allow you to change those thoughts (beliefs) very quickly indeed.
