QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT HYPNOSIS
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Yes – if they want to be.
What if I lose control?
You are in control of the whole process and can open your eyes at anytime.

You wake up from sleep every morning, as hypnosis is a perfectly natural state of mind, you can open your eyes at anytime.
Can I be forced to do anything against my will?
No!!! – You are in control at all times!!!
How does hypnosis work?
Problems can occur when a behaviour pattern / programme is made in response to a situation that occurred in the past. When the person grows up, the situation changes, but the behaviour response sometimes does not. As hypnotherapy accesses the clients subconscious mind / seat of all emotions, the behaviour response can be changed allowing positive changes to take place.
How many visits will I need?
Most people require 2 to 4 sessions. In very rare cases more sessions may be required. However this will be discussed with each individual at the first session.
How long will it take before I see results?
Most people notice results after the first session, however in some cases it could be the second. Everyone is individual and responds differently so the results can vary from person to person.
Can hypnosis be used to feel better about myself?
Hypnosis can be used to increase self esteem and confidence allowing you to feel more comfortable and better about yourself.
I am not very good at visualising will it still work?
Good visualisation skills are not required for hypnosis to work. All that is required is for you to change your thought processes. You think every moment of everyday so changing your thoughts can be a relatively easy process using hypnosis.
What are beliefs?
A belief is a thought that is focused upon for a long time until it becomes dominant within you.
Are one to one sessions better than group sessions?
No, however it is what you feel most comfortable with as an individual. If you feel uncomfortable in a group setting it may not be as effective as a one on one session.
